Post Pyramid Paralysis

We WERE warned...that even the fittest person experiences some pain after descending into a pyramid! They were right & you can imagine how much pain I was in as an UN-fit person! I left Mena House walking like a cripple & it was NOT a good look! Still, the pain did not detract from the incredible three days we had just had, in the 'Pyramid'phase of our trip. And to top things off to perfection, on our last night, we finally got our timing right! We looked out the window in time to see lights on OUR side of the Great Pyramid, giving us an impression of how brilliant it would have looked in it's hey-day, & during day light! A serious WOW moment!
