Room With A View

When I booked our stay here at Mena House, I thought I was booking a room, but we have been given a suite! It has a beautifully ornate sitting room & a perfect sized bed & bedroom for long legged peoples!! The suites here are named after celebrities who have stayed in them. A few doors down is the Presidential suite, in another area is the Churchill suite & we are staying in the Om Kolthoom Suite! Om Kolthoom is to Egypt what Nanna Musgoury (sp) is to Greece, Joan Sutherland is to Australia & Dame Kiri is to NZ. It was a wonderful start to our special trip & a huge surprise for oh-significant one! To top it off, there is a Pyramid right outside our window. How cool is that!!!!
